Moorhead, MN Court Reporting
TimelyHonestReliable
Bordered on the west by the Red River of the North and its sister city of Fargo, North Dakota, Moorhead, Minnesota is the largest city in northwestern Minnesota. Platted in 1871 and named after William Garroway Moorhead, this city lies on the lake bed of glacial Lake Agassiz and is home to some of the flattest and richest farm soil on the planet.
For decades, agriculture and farming were the prominent driving forces for the local economy. Today however, Moorhead, Minnesota is home to many standout corporate industries such as American Crystal Sugars, Pactiv and Busch Agricultural Resources just to name a few. Adding in the colleges of Concordia and Minnesota State University Moorhead, it’s easy to see why this county seat for Clay County has an unemployment rate that is consistently below the national average.
And when the work is done and it’s time to refuel, head to Rustica Eatery and Tavern. Paired with a glass of their house red, the Chianti Braised Beef Tenderloin Tips are fit for a king! (Or queen). Find yourself in the mood for a sweet treat after dinner… Check out the Moorhead Dairy Queen, home to the first Dilly Bar ever created! They’re still just as creamy and delicious as they were back in 1949.
